The East now has a new and intimate 150 capacity, D.I.Y inspired space called
‘The Emergency Room’.

The space has a 16 channel mixing desk, a self contained PA… AND IS OPEN TO ANYONE… punk, indie, noise, country, hardcore, electronic, folk, hip-hop… whatevs!! We know this fair city of ours has an amazing abundance of new musical talent just waiting for the chance to explode onto the live scene, and that’s where The Emergency Room comes in to offer a helping hand!

The Emergency Room is most suitable for a group of artists looking to develop those invaluable live performance skills without blowing the budget. ER shows are typically held on Monday nights, can feature anything from two (2) to four (4) bands, and generally run from 8:00pm – 10:30pm, with doors opening at 7:30pm. ER shows offer door entry only and artists should provide their own sound mixer for the night (ideally the same person should do the whole night!)

Keep in mind that any ER shows are locked in between four (4) and six (6) weeks in advance – so be pro-active, enthusiastic and ready to unleash your sound!
